I see myself more as a Hedonist than an Epicurean.

Given my surname, perhaps this is nominative determinism? :)

To quote The Rocky Horror Picture Show's Dr. Frank-N-Furter:

Give yourself over to absolute pleasure
Swim the warm waters of sins of the flesh
Erotic nightmares beyond any measure
And sensual daydreams to treasure forever
Can't you just see it. Whoa ho ho!
Don't dream it, be it
Don't dream it, be it

QuoteEpicurus actively recommended against passionate love, and believed it best to avoid marriage altogether.
Recreational sex is viewed as a natural, but not necessary, desire that should be generally avoided.

Can you be an involuntary Epicurean?

I collected a force of SYW stuff in 28mm when the ImagiNations craze was at the flood. Now I really wish I hadn't bothered. Just lost all joy in the project. Would like to sell them on and buy something more my taste.
