What do people think is the best out of the pot colour for 14th Army Uniforms?

I would go for Vallejo Olive Grey 70.888 for the jungle green uniform issued from 1943.  Often made locally in India, shades varied such that shirts and trousers often didn't quite match, couple that with that the nature of the theatre which meant that uniforms were washed or worn 'to destruction' such that they faded pretty quickly.  Finish with a wash of Vallejo Olive Green 76.519 and highlight with a dry brush of Vallejo Grey Green 70.866.

My first combat suits were the green ones and they were certainly faded by the time I got a pair of DPM suits in 1971.

I use VAL885 Pastel Green, so probably best avoided!  :D  The VAL888 I use for South Koreans.
