I've had to compromise on the 'scale', as otherwise it would have dominated the table, but luckily folding wings are a feature of the 'Bocage' ;) :D.

I was thinking about what else you could use the 'tin' idea for. Maybe an oil or gas storage tank?

I have used assorted packing material to attempt to create sci-fi buildings - the inside of a biscuit packet (the plastic bit) has been saved to turn into a green house - the idea being to fill it with plaster of paris (or filler) to make it more robust. But that is still on the 'to-do' list.

Mark, they are perfect for oil and gas storage tanks, albeit a tad large on the footprint front etc. However some of the smaller tin cans would be perfect IMHO. Something else to bear in mind when sorting through the re-cycling :D.
