As it's Xmas time, and we'll all be indulging in that extra piece of cake, what better time to come clean and admit our Top 3 guilty pleasures!

I'd better go first, so:

Coca Cola - Can't get enough of the stuff, I should really own shares in the company by now!
WWE - It's not really for me... my 7 year old makes me watch it....  honest!
Chinese takeaways - Fried, high calorie, MSG-filled heaven!
www.pendraken.co.uk - Now home to over 10,000 products, including nearly 5000 items for 10mm wargaming, plus MDF bases, Battlescale buildings, I-94 decals, Litko Gaming Aids, Militia Miniatures, Raiden Miniatures 1/285th aircraft, Red Vectors MDF products, Vallejo paints, Tiny Tin Troops flags and much, much more!

sixsideddice

Spanish Cava - really dry and ice cold. My euphoric delight is a good war or horror movie alone at night (when partner in bed or out with the girls) and a whole bottle to myself.

Watching "White Christmas" each and every Christmas time (usually making others watch it with me) - honestly, it’s an institution with me, and brings back happy memories.

Lemon Meringue Pie. I`d happily eat a whole one in one go  :D

Nosher

1. A really decent bar of proper chocolate
2. Host & Hostess with the mostess - entertaining the family at special times of the year. Good food, good wine and merriment. Happy times.
3. Me and the wife with a picnic basket and a bottle of wine and the smack of leather on willow heard from the outfield at a village green cricket match during the great English summertime.
I don't think my wife likes me very much, when I had a heart attack she wrote for an ambulance.

Frank Carson

capthugeca

1. Custard creams.
2. Most confectionary but chocolate, jelly beans or candy shrimps in particular (regularly nick my sons'  :d).
3. Misinterpreting what people say to me whenever possible.

[Not that I feel very guilty about any of them but they're perhaps pleasures that I ought to]
Life is too important to be taken seriously.

Luddite

Mashed potato.   Buttered and peppered.  I could eat plates of it.

A really satisying bowel movement.

A nice long lie in on the weekend.

Following goat major's lead here [& therefore nicking 6 really...]

Christmas guilty pleasures:
Midnight Mass followed by a good single malt at the vicarage
Cooking for everyone [32 this year]
Champagne for breakfast, followed by Gin...move onto a couple cold ones as the kitchen gets hotter, decent wines with dinner, port, brandy...and, funnily enough, ending the day with a good single malt

Normal guilty pleasures:
A day at home alone, uninterrupted...
A great game of cricket, playing at home where the pitch sits next to the River Avill at the foot of Grabbist with a view up to the heights of Exmoor - it's sunny, I've hit some runs batting at 4, taken a couple of wickets as first-change bowler, a couple of catches in the field...doesn't get much better...
A good single malt in my favourite crystal tumbler

8)

I think I've entered a Zen-like state just thinking about that lot y'know  O:-)

Sorry, the malt is a reward for putting up with the rest.  :)
