looking good, I would have a think about the heavy weapons colours they were usually painted and not left base metal colour

Hey, Maenoferren, no need to worry about me taking it the wrong way.  I'm more than happy about this kind of constructive remarks. 

So thank youfor the feedback, that's exactly the kind of remarks I'm looking for, and the reason I start with just one squad instead of an entire company...  I was already thinking whether the bazooka in the ardennes scene in Band of Brothers wasn't more green gray rather than metallic, but I'm watching Pacific now and I don't wanna mix ).  I'll have a thorough look at the link you provided, all of this is new to me, boardgames don't require one to think about  the colour of boots or weaponry.
