I have been offered a collection of Chariot Miniatures ACW figures from the collection of a late wargamer.

Does anyone know how they compare with Pendraken ACW.

I've not seen any comparisons online for the Chariot range, have they been known as anything else?  There's this one from a couple of years back, showing most of the 10mm ranges:

www.pendraken.co.uk - Now home to over 7000 products, including 4500 items for 10mm wargaming, plus MDF bases, Battlescale buildings, I-94 decals, Litko Gaming Aids, Militia Miniatures, Raiden Miniatures 1/285th aircraft, Red Vectors MDF products, Vallejo paints and much, much more!

If you do a google search for Chariot miniatures 10mm you will come across a reference to a review on deepfriedhappymice.com This includes a variety of 10mm figures, including ACW. Some (ECW and ACW cavalry) I recognise as AIM figures, some (FPW) look like Magister Militum. Anyway, the ACW infantry have a mm ruler behind them which, with the one provided by Leon, should sort out your question.

The old Chariot 10mm figures are now sold by Magister Militum. Not too familiar with the ACW ones, but the 10mm FPW were always a lot more delicate than the Pendraken figures. From the above photo the new Pendraken ACW and the MM/Chariot 10mm look reasonably compatible.

They were produced when Jed (the original owner) owned Chariot miniatures. they were called 10 High.  They possibly predate Pendraken, as I first saw them at the Ilford wargames show when I lived in Chelmsford ( I moved from there in 1992.)

Magister took over the entire Chariot range some years ago. I would not be surprised if the figures were more delicate, as Jed's style for his 15mm was more delicate than the other 15mm manufacturers at the time

I think MM 10mm ACW are Perrin's I've ordered them and they match Perrin's identically unless Perrin's took over Chariot and labeled them Perrin's.

That must be the case because I bought some of the casualties and mounted officers with kepi for my FPW armies in the early 90s from Chariot. I have just had a look at the MM website and they are definitely the same figures.
