Very nice! At first glance I thought the orange and green ones were waving the Irish flag  ;D

Now that you mention it, those guys certainly do sport a rather irish palette of colours! Had not even thought about that. I'm just careful about not using our arch enemys IKEA colours!

mmcv

Definitely not, their crossbows and bolts would come flat packed, then fall apart in the rain due to being about 90% cardboard...

mmcv

And can you imagine IKEA seige engines...  :o

Thank you Phil! I wonder what happened to your account?

Got the red players final infantry pieces done, and also finished up the pegasus knights I had painted up a while ago. The infantry is done with dark brown basecoat, and the pegasi are medium brown undercoat. Which clearly shows how much superior a darker basecoat is defining the lines on a miniature.

I'll definately have to get one of these carpets, preferably a rather "old world" esque one!

Also I do have a custom made "LOTR style" map of europe, done by DeepCut Studios. Which I plan to use with this game initially. Where the area controlled is the name and small space surrounding it on the map.

I just had to quickly assemble it around and throw a few figures on it to show you guys how they look on the map.

I still plan to make a load of forests and small mountains to add chokepoints on the map. Aswell as to bring more elevation to the 3d experience. I had to scrap the ideas of a full fledged 3D map, as I just dont have the space for it. Although I really want to try out could I pull off some sort of modular cork disk world building system.
