Flocked the remaining spare sabots

I've base coated the horses on the casualty 'mounted' figures

Varnished the various spare sabots to help retain the flock

Based and flocked the unit of Dragoons and four Colonels I painted a while ago, also the current batch of two units of Rabble, and a unit of Commanded Shot

I also flocked 25 40x20mm fillers (used with the sabots for example to convert a unit of pike & shot into commanded shot)

Pierre the Shy popped by to pick up the extra standard bearers and officers I did to finish his Scots

He also lent me Duncan Head's Armies of the Macedonian and Punic Wars, lots of useful reading

Collected the last batch of Scots from Paul - 10 x Covenanter command stands to change enough 1650 P&M regiments to 1644/5 ones - different flags mainly so I can correctly show units such as Argyll's and Tullibardine's at Inverlochy for example.

Got a 900 X 600 4.75mm thick sheet of MDF for the baseboard for the Buffalos over Singapore game while I was out too. Going to use 30mm squares to give a 20 X 30 grid which should be big enough. Just needs a coat of blue paint and squares marked out.

Hopefully we can get in a couple of games over the Xmas break.......the basic rules are very simple but the further changes to various bombers defensive fire allows a bit of variation between types.....don't try and attack Betty's or Nell's from behind....they have a 20mm cannon facing aft.
   
Got to finalise Dunbar scenario as well now I have the basic map that I am happy with in FK&P terrain terms.

I will put up some pictures of the last few completed units but otherwise that's about it for the Scots ECW part of our ECW project.
