Hi all,

I've decided to start this painting diary to show people my upcoming work and to hopefully give people an insight into how I paint and my processes.

My upcoming projects include;

- 10mm Russian Tank Corps

- 10mm German Panzer/Panther/Tiger Battalions

- 10mm AWI British Infantry Brigade

- 10mm British Commission Work

- 10mm German Commission Work

So here are my first items.

While I wait for my current projects to be delivered, I am still mopping up the remaining figures/vehicles/artillery pieces I have left.

Up first are my current test pieces for my up and coming Russian tank corps, I have never painted Soviet figures before and so I have order a few test pieces to test my painting technique out.

Next is my Bergpanther, I bought this vehicle to give me a recovery element to my Rapid Fire! force. It was definitely the most technical figure that I've ever put together from Pendraken!

Here are my German prime movers that I have had sat on the bench for months. I tend to get the exciting armour out of the way first, and then forget about the smaller less exciting figures.

Last but not least, are my brigade guns for my up and coming AWI British brigade. I have some more on order which I am going to paint in Royal Artillery colours this time!

Until next time!

Everything is looking great.  Really great.

Can't wait to see more especially basing on those Germans.

Exceptionally well done, Jake. The detail work on the recovery vehicle is impressive.

Very nice indeed. I particularly like the bronze artillery done with non-metallic paint.

Update - 02/11/2017

I've finally started making a dint into my massive Russian force, here's a photo of the armour alone.

I'm planning on finishing one tank troop and one infantry battalion/company every night at least, just to keep me ticking over every night.

Anyway, here's tonight's contenders ...

Until next time,
