Thanks Leon for letting me post this on the site.

I have just started a new venture making and painting 6mm buildings and I know that some you like to use 6mm buildings with 10mm troops.

The current ranges are:
Dark Ages -can be used across Europe.
Northern Europe - both rural and town and most are suitable from the Medieval to Modern periods (Including FPW  ;) ).
Central European and Russian rural. Medieval to Modern.
Desert -Adobe/Middle eastern style. ALmost everywhere there is heat and desert.
Ruins -late Nineteenth Century to Modern.
Jacobean and Stuart -half timbered style. Can be mixed with
European half timbered -different construction style and colours. Both are suitable from the specified period forwards in time.
Mediterranean -Spanish types with terracotta roofing tiles.

I have also just started a range specifically for the modern period with a mix of commercial, town and rural building types.

Nice buildings.

I would like them better if the green on the bases wasn't so 'garish'.

I'll see how this goes first. If I do go bigger it will only be up to 10mm anyway.

Thanks all.

Comment on the base colour noted although in truth, there is not that much of it.

I'll let the chaps at the club know - they might dip their hands in their pockets ;)

Would you even consider going smaller? The buildings in the N.European range are very reminiscent of those homemade by Bruce Weigle, which look very effective in his rulebooks, but this is because he has made them smaller than the 6mm figures he uses, probably 3mm or 4mm. This means he can produce sizeable looking settlements without too big a footprint.

Yes I've seen his pics and they do look the mutts. Unfortunately, my brain won't allow me to marry the two scales together and the buildings -or the little chaps- will forever be 'wrong' if you know what I mean. The buildings are in scale with the figures and I am currently playing out a small solo FPW game (using To the Last Gaiter Button rules for the first time). I had thought about trying to make some 3mm and if I'm honest I'm still thinking about it but for now I'm sticking with the 6mm.

Just to show what they look like on the table -150x100cm- I took a couple of opening pics.

Keep thinking, I could do with some more variety in 3mm modern!   :D

To misquote Ford, you can have any colour you like as long as it's 6mm!
