Nine years separates the old and new, amazing how long paint lasts  ;)

Rimmer: "Aliens."

Lister: "Oh God, aliens... Your explanation for anything slightly peculiar is aliens, isn't it?

Rimmer: "Well, we didn't use it all, Lister. Who did?"

Lister: "Rimmer, aliens used our bog roll?"

Many thanks  :)

petercooman: I have done, went through an exercise of translating all the move distances, ranges, etc. into hexes. Simple enough as DBA 3.0 went to base widths for everything. These 1/72 figures are on 60mm wide bases.

That is a really nice looking force. I am starting to see quite a few blogger / posters showing chariot armies lately, hopefully something that will gather pace.

Two of my least favorite things to paint, wheels and horses, several of which are combined just to get one thing. :o

Painting the three chariots was a bit of a marathon, well pleased to get it over with. If I was starting over again the Assyrians would be on my ancient short list.  A really good plastic one is here:

I was heading in that direction but common sense prevailed for once  ;)

Since I've been working on Red Eagle's rather rough-and-ready WWI biplanes, I realise my earlier distaste for assembling chariots was misplaced!

The last two don't even have propellers. As it happens, I prefer clear discs for flying aircraft, but I think the choice should be mine.
