1920s Canada Border War

I've embarked on a new project covering a fictional border dispute between the USA and Canada in the 1920s. This will eventually involve the regular military, North West Mounted Police, gangster bootleggers and assorted local, loggers, trappers, hunters etc.

In 1920, the the Jones Act required all goods entering or leaving Alaska had to be transported by American carriers and shipped to Seattle prior to further shipment. This caused outrage in Canada and led to Canada initiating border trade controls in retaliation. In remote areas this caused issues for those who regularly crossed the border as a part of their occupation, such as hunters, loggers and bootleggers. As tempers flared, violence broke out between armed civilians on both sides and Canadian customs officials came under fire.....

All part of War Plan Red a potential war between US v British Empire & Canada after the Great War. Lesser know than the famous War Plan Orange of a war between US & Japan using largely Dreadnoughts and spotter planes.

Thanks everyone for your comments.  ;)
I did have War Plan Red in mind when I started on this, :- but rather than a purely military operation I wanted to do something a little more Pulp-style and include clashes with rival loggers, police and bootleggers etc.

I've made a start on scenery and picked up some transport. More pictures on the blog http://grahamsgaming.blogspot.co.uk/

Thanks Guys,

I have set a bit of a tight deadline for myself, I am running two introductory games of The Men Who Would Be Kings at the Tring Club in mid-April and want to try and use this stuff for one of those!

I've also had an idea for a multi-player scenario set on the bank of one of the Great Lakes, all I need now is a warehouse, jetty and a tramp steamer or fishing boat!
