Home.

Had a minor 'op'/procedure that went on until about three in the morning (local anaesthetic)....Asleep about half three.....Woken at five thirty for "Can we take your blood pressure Phil ?"

Back to Techno Towers........Down to the Doc's an hour ago to ask the district nurse some questions, and order more 'prescription' stuff.

Sore and battered......Almost asleep on my feet, now.

I don't think you'd really want to know.

I'm sure it will, Ian.

But I still feel rather battered just at the mo'.......Not TOO bad though. (It's not going to stop me pushing putty around today......I just won't be going anything like as fast as per usual.)
Have to say, that I did get a whole 9 hours uninterrupted sleep, last night........Which, for me, is just about unheard of.

Probably try and have another really early night, tonight.

Thanks chaps !

Had a couple of 'strange' calls from one of the hospitals I always seem to be frequenting these days, this morning.

Call 1 )...Head Nurse (Of some department) phoned up to see if I could go in for a chat about something relatively trivial, tomorrow.......

"I'm really sorry, (Her name).....But I've got to go down to the local surgery tomorrow morning, already.......I'm really not going to have time to drive all the way to the hospital, and back, after that." (I've got to get SOME bloody work done !.....Though I didn't say that).

Call 2).....Hello, Mr Lewis....(Same nurse)....If you're in after you've been to see the Doctor in the morning.....Can one of my colleagues pop round and visit you at home, early afternoon, for the chat.

"Yeah, fine."

Well, I certainly can't complain about all the care and attention they're giving me, at the mo'.
