This year we've managed to secure ourselves a game table at the UK's biggest show, the massive Salute event in London on April 22nd!

We're looking for a person/group who would be willing to come along to the show and put on a nice display or participation game to show off our products.  This could be any period/genre you like, although it would be nice to show off either the Warband or new Blitzkrieg Commander rules if possible.

In return for your time, you'll get free entry into the show itself, as well as a chunk of Pendraken credit to spend on more goodies.  We'll also stretch to some bacon buns and a cuppa during the day!

Let us know if you're interested and we'll discuss the details.

More info on Salute can be found on the website here: http://www.salute.co.uk/salute/salute-2017/
www.pendraken.co.uk - Now home to over 10,000 products, including nearly 5000 items for 10mm wargaming, plus MDF bases, Battlescale buildings, I-94 decals, Litko Gaming Aids, Militia Miniatures, Raiden Miniatures 1/285th aircraft, Red Vectors MDF products, Vallejo paints, Tiny Tin Troops flags and much, much more!

Just been struggling to get a table at Salute and only confirmed a few weeks ago.

We will be there doing a game set in Renaissance Italy using your brilliant figures, so might mean two Pendraken games at the show!

There will also be a small display/game of the League of Augsburg range on the Pike and Shot society stand. I am committed to running another game (6mm GNW) but will also be try to put some time in to the 10mm display/game.

Hi Leon,

How big is the table?  We don't do Warband or Blitzkrieg but may be able to do a War of Spanish Sucession if the guys at the club are free and you would like us to

We normally go to Salute every year but in our view the quality of the show  and games on display last year had declined significantly and so only 50:50 on attending this year.

Interestingly we were also quite disappointed with Crisis as well.

Maybe 2016 was just a bad year for some of the big shows

The layout looked quite disorganized last year didn't it!

Do you want 1 display game all day or a few different 3 hour games of varying ranges ?

Thanks for all the responses to this, we've had a group contact us by email and we can announce that we'll have an excellent looking Antietam game on show!  We'll be posting some more info and updates about it as we get closer to the show, but thanks to everyone else who got in touch.

Excellent, let me know any info and where you are in the hall and I'll do some advertising for it.

That sounds good, same again then, let me know where you are and I'll send people in your direction.  Incidentally, what rules are you using for it?

Thanks for the reply Andy, I think it's a regular 6x4ft but they've not confirmed yet.

I did pop an email through in December about whether you guys would be interested in doing a game at the Hammerhead show though?  I got a reply from Ian saying you weren't planning on attending, but Kallistra are looking for more small scale display games there if it would be of interest?

Just the one I think, so the guys will be running through Antietam over the course of the day.  We will be looking to get a table at Salute every year going forward, so hopefully we can do a bit more planning for next year!

I'm already commited to helping out with 'The Pikemen's Lament' demo game, but great to know that there will be some games at a scale I enjoy and interesting periods too :)

The whole show was a bit underwhelming.  They seem to be given more and more space every year to the big 'wholesaler' stands in the middle of the show.  There always seems to be plenty of space left over but I know one trader who couldn't get a stand last year.

True, the wargames foundry stand(although not a wholesaler) for example was waaaay too big. I remember saying to my wife that the second hall was way too cramped, but the foundry stand in the middle of the hall was like walking in the parc  ;D ;D

What was it, about one 20th of the entire hall?
