Is there anyway of knowing which of the Pendraken figures are small or big. Have a load of Wurttemberg infantry on the painting table for 1812 and then bought some figures to represent the light infantry only to find they are significantly smaller.  :-

Which is why they are light infantry.

Which figures did you buy for the lights, as I can't seem to find the order at this end?  Most of the ranges are of a comparable height, the only differences being from older ranges or sometimes different sculptors.  The Napoleonics are all the same height/style, including the 1812 ones.  The Revolutionary ranges (French/Austrian) were a different sculptor and look noticeably different.

It's not because some of them are near and some are far away?

Classic!!!

Now seriously, have you tried putting something under their bases to get them to the same height? Sometimes does the trick for me!

Hi Leon,

After a discussion on here the consensus of opinion was NPA30 from the 1809 Austrian Range.

That's an interesting one, I'll have to go and compare some of those.  The newer 1809 march attack pose matches fine with the 1812 march attack poses, so the others in the range should be similarly sized.  I'll have to cast some up and have a look.

That's a bit different isn't it!   :o  I've spun off some of the other figures to have a check and the 1812 figures match the majority of the 1809's fine.  For some reason though, that NPA30 sculpt is shorter than the others, for reasons I'm not sure of.  It could be that the sculptor built a fresh armature for it rather than use one of our dollies, I'd have to check some similar poses for height in our other ranges.

Thanks Leon, yes I have some of the 1809 Bavarians and they look fine next to the 1812 Wurttemberg figures.  :)
