Productive weekend, no doubt aided by the inclement weather.

Made good progress on the start of my 1809 Naps, 2 battalions of Austrians (100 figs) - love white uniforms  :)

Finished a halfling Bloodbowl team from the archive pile.

Finished Celts Vs Romans battle diorama to hand over to Leon at WMMS (hopefully Dave doesn't drop it  :))

I spent this evening trying to paint a grid on a Jarvis Scenics flocked mat, to try and make it less obvious than small black dots. Not sure st the minute whether this will work as I hoped or not. Some more detailing and highlights tomorrow. It may look OK when other scenery is added. Pics of the finished item to follow.

Not big users fsn, having only two "dog boats."

"MTB 631" a Fairmile D was a lend-lease boat for the Norwegian Navy. She ran aground off Florø on 14/03/1943 and abandoned.

On 18/03/1943 she was towed in to Bergen and brought back to sea as "S 631". She was assigned to the German "Norwegian West Coast" command.

"MGB 666" also a Fairmile D was captured off Ijmuiden on 05/07/1944. On 08/07/1944 she was destroyed by a fuel explosion.

Not exactly long and illustrious service :)
