The Wargaming Butterfly 🦋 has flapped her resplendent wings, and I have fallen foul of her ways...

Many years ago, I bought some 2nd hand GW fantasy goblins from a friend's son.

Having seen a couple of games down the club, I've spent the last three days going through the boxes, assembling extra units from what he had finished (can't few, sorry to say) and working out whether I can build a viable force by the 15th.

So far I have two and a half out of nine units complete, plus some characters, two 'easy' units base coated and inked, and several more I need to rebase or fettle.

Also, redrawn my list from what I would ideally field, to what-can-I-field-from-what-is-here. It's... Different.

And being Gobbos, no one minds if they lose!

Interesting. Which ruleset? Age of Sigmar or The Old World? Or something else?

One of those two units just needs basing, the other is based coated and inked.
Shield backs done, attached to figures and fronts base coated and inked.
I'm enjoying these waaaaaaaay to much.

fred.

Is this the 28mm Goblins? It is meant to be fun, and goblins always add a bit of wackiness to it!

The core of the Alien force has been lacquered, ready for some flock to be added. Now onto some supporting units as takes my fancy...

Some scorpions painted this afternoon. All of these have been pretty quick to do, as the main colour is black, with a few bright colours here and there. I just wish all units were this quick and easy to paint!

Funnily enough I was thinking of the old glow in the dark paint you used to be able to get as a kid IIRC!

The Chauci tribe are nearing completion, and the Suebi about halfway.
I don't drink coffee to wake up. I wake up to drink coffee.
