My fingertips are now 90% cynoacrylate!😜😳😱

Keep a small pot of cheapo nail varnish remover near you, Will....(Some types are basically pure acetone.)
If you're quick you can get the worst of the 'superglue' off your digits, with a bit of kitchen towel, dabbed in the acetone

Just don't tip/spill the acetone over anything.....It'll strip varnish from a table....Paint from a figure...and it'll 'melt' all sorts of plastic.

Basically it is artifical grass mounted onto 2mm mdf. I use contact adhesive to stick the two together. I then use polyfilla to blend the sides in, then the usual steps of grit, paint and flock. Hope this helps?

paulr

Thanks, it does indeed help :)

Did you paint the yellow 'stalks' in the fields or was the artificial grass mixed in colour?

They are part of the mix and look much more realistic than the bright monochrome green that you often see. The samples I got were about 4" square and of varying heights. Most you will need to trim down with scissors so they don't dwarf the figures.

paulr

Thanks I'll have to see if I can find some mixed artificial grass, as you say the bright monochrome green doesn't look realistic
