Hi All

While still reeling while thinking of Techno's socks, I was also pondering on what would look most suitable for the early Conquistadores.

Rather than the later combed morion, I was thinking that the Early 16th C. English/Scots range would be the best lot of press-gangees, maybe with some ELMs thrown in. Main lack would be suitable sword and bucklermen. The lance armed border horse would look the part for Spanish cavalry.

Any other thoughts?

This site has a wealth of picture info on the subject. And it's a pdf! (I know this because I downloaded a copy moons ago when I had an urge.) You know how it is, you get the urge which turns into an itch but when you scratch it both the itch and urge go away.
