Depending on the range that may be the time the shell takes to arrive at the target and so allow for correcting fall of shot

I didn't think fall of shot was a factor with today's advanced tracking and thingamumabobs.

Continuing the naval theme I came across this recently - A very well made animated story of one Japanese destroyer during the 2nd night action between USN and IJN capital ships in November 1942 just off Guadalcanal:

There's alot more if you go into the creators channel, though most of it is not historical, instead amongst other things, the Yamato gets modernised to fight off an alien invasion
