We had a cracking day yesterday, our best Claymore ever.  We'd left Dave behind for this one, so it was me and Adele running things and we had a really nice time.  This was the first year we've set up on the Friday as well, so that made things a lot easier for us, rather than setting off at 4am and getting home 18 hours later.

It was good to see loads of friendly faces and catch up with folk, I hope you all enjoyed the show as well.  Thanks to Jim and Mike for the photos, I didn't get chance to leave the stand much during the show, so I missed all of the games this year.

Mike and Jim, Pity neither of you swung by to snap my game otherwise you would have been offered a free Anglo-Saxon table model. Shame no pics in your roundups as I won Best in Show with my 28mm Romano-British Cramond Fort display game. Remembered my camera but was kept very busy all day with chat over the game and forgot to take any photos myself. Thanks to Derek Hodge for the figures on display.

I can't work out how I missed getting a picture Mike. I basically worked out a pattern in both halls that I was sure passed every table at least once. Whereabouts were you?

Sorry, I never photograph every game, you get too much of what you don't necessarily like that way. I only photograph games that I really like.

Congratulations, Wee Wars! I should have read the Welcome Leaflet that was handed to me at the door - you know, the one with the list of traders and table layouts for each hall telling you who was running what game and so on. And although I read this when I got home, "Supreme Littleness" still didn't twig until your post today! D'oh!   #-o

Anyway, its possible I have a photograph of your game on my phone (as I recall, Cramond was an ancient Roman port so presumably your game / display was the one with water, two boats and a Roman Fort?). If you want, PM me and I'll try to forward to you.

Dammit, Ithoriel! That's the one! Beat me to it! (snazzle, razzle, mutter, mutter ....)  ~X(

(however mine was taken from the other side!   :P)


P.S. Tried to follow the Mornington Crescent vids, fsn, but ...... "nope" .... (I often fall asleep when in a train and ..... somehow .... it happened again). Do you need a Tube Map to play this game?
