Well, the household is back from hols and I'm back to neck deep in work and 10mm Marlburians, and was very pleasant in North Wales.

Except... one day, coming out of the holiday cottage we passed the little National Park carpark at the bottom of the drive, to find a flaming Vauxhall Zafira merrily burning away with immense excitment and heat and flames (did I mention the flames?). Apparently it's a known issue, which Vauxhall eventually admitted to and instigated a fix for after a few dozen exploded into flames at random moments.

Fortunately the family who owned it had parked up and gone for a wander round that bit of Snowdonia, and some time they'd left it, it burst into flames...

Which would be bad enough, except this one had been "fixed" by Vauxhall. TWICE. So if any of you are driving a Zafira Mk2 (think that's 2003 to 2013 version?), even if it's been fixed, do keep your in car fire extinguisher to hand  :o
