I am starting to paint ECW figures but also need some buildings and one that I cannot find anywhere for the period is a typical English country church: there are excellent Continental forms available but I cannot find something small and typically English, square tower etc.   Does anyone have any suggestion as to a manufacturer of such a model in 1/200?

Yes...
Lilliput Lane!  :o
Look in your local charity shops, there are always a few about (and if you can lose the base, so much the better)!

Or Hovels. :)

Seconding charity shops as an excellent source of cheap wargames scenery.

Houses at less than a quid a time can't be bad.

Leven has a good church or two (or seven or eight, actually).

The Leven (http://www.levenminiatures.co.uk/) range are lovely but are 6mm rather than 10mm, if that matters to you.

Thanks to one and all: that is very helpful.   It has been a while since I saw any Lilliput  Lane in a charity shop but the model railways models look good.
