We have great delight in announcing that an article we wrote detailing the philosophy behind the show will be published in the next issue (issue 84) of Wargames, Soldiers & Strategy magazine. The magazine will be on sale from the 16th April 2016 - the first copies being on sale at the Salute show in London on that date - so if you do not already subscribe to that excellent magazine we urge you to do so now.

Bookings are starting to come in now. So far we have the following:
12 trade stands with another 17 interested
         A Bring and Buy stand
         12 Public Participation wargames
A fun wargame with edible prizes
1 Plastic Kit Model display with more to follow
1 Re-enactment display with more to follow
1 Model Railway display with a working goods yard and public participation shunting puzzle

Loving the model railway part. I'm definitely going to be drawn to that.

I've also, already, got my name down for a game of the Westerhope boys WW2 game, and will probably join in with one of the Redcar Ironbeards games during the day.  :)
Rimmer: "Aliens."

Lister: "Oh God, aliens... Your explanation for anything slightly peculiar is aliens, isn't it?

Rimmer: "Well, we didn't use it all, Lister. Who did?"

Lister: "Rimmer, aliens used our bog roll?"
