Vapnartak is taking place on Sunday 7th February, at York Racecourse in York (unsurprisingly!).  We'll need any pre-orders for this sending through to us before Sunday 31st January please, and more info on the show can be found on the York club website here: http://www.yorkwargames.org/Vapnartak.htm

Some more useful information for show-goers.

OAPs get into the show for free  :-bd

I've just asked on Facebook, as they hadn't advertised that fact. It means my 'lift to the show' can come in and keep warm and not have to drop me off and then go elsewhere. 
Rimmer: "Aliens."

Lister: "Oh God, aliens... Your explanation for anything slightly peculiar is aliens, isn't it?

Rimmer: "Well, we didn't use it all, Lister. Who did?"

Lister: "Rimmer, aliens used our bog roll?"

York Show Meet.

When?
Where?
Who do I look out for?

My suggestions:
12 Noon. Or 1 o'Clock.
Pendraken Stall - then we step to one side.
I'll provide a photo of me [tall, ginger, 30s] so if people spot a group including me they know they've found us. I'll also wear a distinctive item of clothing. 

Some members of the Westerhope group will be there, they've told me, so I need to let them know via their blog. There should also be a chap who's just moved to Middlesbrough there on the day.
[Westerhope put on games at Battleground. The other's connection being Middlesbrough.]

Let us know your thoughts - requirements - please

Sounds good to me, we're just near the bottom of the main stairs so there's usually a bit of space for standing...

I shall be in a suit with a red carnation in the lapel...ooops, wrong forum,.
I shall come to the Pendraken stand at 12 noon for a meet up but won't be able to meet up for too long as I will have a minibus full of pupils to look after.

I will be there for most of the day if the show is up to its usual standards.
We are planning to rent a table to sell the surplus terrain from our club (Redcar Ironbeards) so hopefully I will be able to make the 12.00 appointment slot  :) :)
