1) What ruleset do you use in your last game? - Warhammer 40000 (new guy at the club, trying to convince him of the ways if truth and light)
2) What armies were confronted? - My Tau (which haven't been out the box since 2005) vs Imperial Guard
3) Did you feel comfortable with the ruleset? - no.
4) and... was the first time do you use the ruleset? - Yes for this edition, but have played on and off since the 80s.
5) How many players were in the game? - two

Played because Matt is a really nice guy who we want to get down the club more regularly. My force was basically one I inherited in th noughties, which just came straight out the box, his was a bit beardy, but I killed all that stuff!

I enjoyed the game and the company, but did not enjoy the rules! ;)

Killing all his stuff may not have contributed to your first objective ;) ;D

1) What ruleset do you use in your last game? - Wars of Marlborough (not their actual name... Don't have one yet - home brew rules)
2) What armies were confronted? - Franco-Bavarians v Dutch
3) Did you feel comfortable with the ruleset? - certainly... I co-wrote them :-)
4) and... was the first time do you use the ruleset? - No. They have been tweaked over the last ??? Years, but are just about there.
5) How many players were there in the game? - 5 players (2 Dutch, 3 French/Bavarian) and me (umpire)

Game was very close in the end. Dutch played a blinder early in the game, refusing a flank to almost completely nullify the flank attack of one of the French contingents. In the end time was our enemy & we had to finish with a draw :-/

Having seen pics of the figures used on a well known 6mm manufacturers forum the game must have looked superb
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Some excellent discussion, no wonder rules end up so big! I am determined to keep them very short!

1) What rules set do you use in your last game? - Iron Cross.

3) Did you feel comfortable with the rules set? - Yes
4) and... was the first time do you use the rules set? - No, we played once before a few weeks ago
5) How many players were in the game? - 2

This time I used my recently painted Panther and one Stug G with a reduced company of infantry and support weapons to go against the U.S. company with three supporting Shermans.  The US focused a lot of their effort (i.e. activation tokens) on shooting the Panther with their three Shermans. I supported the Panther with the Stug and a panzerschreck armed infantry squad. I was able to knock out two of his Shermans but he managed to get a flank shot on the Panther which caused a "Kaboom" (rolled a "6" on the damage)

1) BBB

2) ACW Union and Confederate - BBB scenario for 1st Bull Run

3) Hadn't had a game since November, but it's such a straightforward and logical system that we were bowling along very quickly, What a fun game with fragile and raw troops on both sides, and the Union doesn't even get a general figure.

4) No

5) 2 players

Who won Leman? We found it a great scenario, with lots of challenges due to the poor quality of the troops (on both sides), with the lack of a General for the Union being a bit of a pain, but historically accurate.

Bodvoc

Great fun this game, very close but as always I managed to grab a defeat by just 1 Victory point.

No one yet. We spent a while setting up the table and sorting the troops, then had a break for tea, and played three turns between about 7.30 and 9.00, then went home, leaving the game set up to conclude next week, when we will be able to start about 6.00. AAR to follow, with piccies, although the figures are my Fire and Fury 15mm armies.
