What Ho chaps...
We know Fierce Kitty is off to Italy, but what are the rest of us planning to paint over Xmas?
I've a unit of Polish Panaceri and musketeers, a unit of LOA English foot and a few Warband bits, plus a pair of 28mm for my daughter.
Et tu?

I'm planning on:

- Finishing my Pikemen's Lament forces.
- Odds'n'Sods for AVBCW.

Realistically that will be it. Time over the Xmas period, based upon previous experience, is extremely limited :(.

Doesn't matter what I'm planning. I'll probably end up doing something else.

Like to make a start on the Brit Napoleonics.

Possibly some 1:600 WWI aircraft.

But then again, I've asked for the railgun for Xmas. May need some Commandoes painted for that.  Though if Santa doesn't come up trumps, that could be disappointing.  :(

Though they could go up against the Italians that I haven't painted yet.

Or I could finish off my 1950s Desert Imagination stuff, then buy some hangers to complete the airfield.  :-\

But then again, I've watched a number of videos on the Australians in Viet Nam, and that range is now calling to me. Nearly Pendraken ordering day. Could be a nice New Year's project.

In my mind I will finish my 1914 British army pack and start the German pack.
However, my wife may have other plans for my time!

Probably this!

Ideally i'll start painting my d&d minis again or paint my homemade snakerail for ACW. I've stopped everything recently to paint my 2 mm napoleonics (i've finished 62 bases yesterday, only have to do the flags now!)

But i guess i wont paint that much.Wll do some solo games and already planned a night for gaming with the gang, so not all bad!

First Christmas off in 3 years. Reckon I will get merry instead of painting.
I don't think my wife likes me very much, when I had a heart attack she wrote for an ambulance.

Well I was painting 10mm Vikings but having discovered 'To the Strongest' ancient rules I am now getting a 15mm Carthaginian army for Xmas (part of a group project), so may get distracted onto them.
My wife however would like me to paint the kitchen!

Compromise - paint them in the kitchen.

I will start with good intentions and get side-tracked into eating, drinking, socialising - gaming will likely be board and computer based - and New Years Resolution will be to get the army I made a resolution about last year (or even earlier) painted by Easter :-)

I shall be bulking out my SYW armies with battalion guns and a unit of Prussian garrison infantry.

Having just finished a 40 strong Regiment and a 24 strong Battalion of 28mm Naps for a charity sale I will be endeavouring to finish a mounted and dismounted unit of French Dragoons (13 and 10) as well as a 32 strong Regiment of Old Guard, all in time for sale at the Leuchars XMAS Biggy.

If I was really optimistic I have another 28 strong Regiment of Old Guard not even started yet.

And in between all that I'm creating stream hexes with Heroscape tiles for my 10mm WW2 Pendraken collection of course. That's a lot of drilling, cutting, filling, painting and flocking.

I'm careful to never specify Jim!

I like CCP's definition of Soon(tm) - "a period up to but not including the next ice age" :) As in "we're working on a cool new feature for EVE Online, it will be ready soon(tm)"
