Am I right in thinking that the crews for the Carriers have helmet webbing and are thus not really suitable for the period I am looking at (France 1940)? Any help would be much appreciated.

Actually it doesn't, very hard to see.

They do have webbing i think, i just didn't paint it.

Much better to see on the camouflaged ones

Sorry, but those are of limited use in 1940. They are Universal Carriers, those in France were Bren Gun Carriers, one rear compartment with a sloped rear plate. Unioversal was around, but uncommon til 1940. It's a simple conversion, but tedious for the numbers required.

Didn't know that, thanks!

But it seems these are the only ones pendraken does.

Thanks for the quick responses, fellows. Just nipped over to Pithead and almost had a heart attack when I saw their shiny, new 'site! Looks like THIS is the chap I'm after. May pick up some Morris CS9s too. Thanks again.

Haha! To be fair all the stuff I've got thus far is from Pendraken, so hopefully my account won't be deleted!   :D

Incidentally, does anybody have any pictures of Pendraken's "Morris CS armoured car"?

There is one on this page. He states that most stuff is 'pendraken' so probably the right one:

I found that too, but wasn't sure if there was a mistake.
