Started work on the church.

Want a stone look so thinking possible Magnolia Exterior paint (tester from B&Q) with some fine sand in it. Then detail / highlight / drybrush as appropriate. Grey for the roof.

Quiet week. Trip to Wigan got cancelled, so got on with other things. Probably should get back to writing course materials next week.

Because a school were paying me to teach some teachers how to teach programming. Trip has been postponed, so I will probably be there in the New Year.

You are probably correct though, I wouldn't necessarily go there out of choice.

- Neil.

Ok - so I have to drive through the excavation that is Runcorn on a daily basis......3/4hr to get to the bridge and out yesterday evening.

Started work on the church model.

It appears my usual wash technique will work on the roof, though possibly with a slightly lighter touch that usual, but it's going to make the walls too brown. I'm think a very thinned out VMC Desert Yellow might work better. If anyone has any advice, I'd appreciate it. I've already re-painted the porch once!

Now I'm off to photograph the village of Rode for some architectural inspiration.
