Hi all,

I'm Benno from Benno's Figures Forum. I started a survey to learn more about people's interests and opinions related to miniature events and the hobby in general. This will help us make improvements to our yearly event and prioritize content on our event's website. The survey should only take 15 minutes, and your responses are completely anonymous.

The survey closes on September 5, 2015.

I would really appreciate your input!

Hi Benno, welcome to the Forum!  I've completed the questionnaire, some tricky questions there.

For my favourite show I went for Salute just for the sheer size of it, but I enjoy a lot of the other shows for different reasons.  Carronade and Durham are nice friendly events, York, Hammerhead and Warfare are busy and good for sales, Border Reiver and Fiasco are nearby so not far to travel.  And of course Battleground is our own show so we enjoy that as well...!

I'd be interested to hear if anyone puts Battleground as their favourite event, and also how many people put the Pendraken Forum as one of their online forum visits.

If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

fred.

I've done the survey - I think you might have a lot of part completed surveys

The 5 things questions are really annoying. The instructions say up to 5. But you have to do exactly 5. The categories on those are also a bit odd.

Don't know why you don't have Sci Fi on the areas of interest, Steam Punk is a very niche choice to put in

Thanks to all who have filled out the survey so far! Much appreciated! I've learned a lot thanks to your feedback and will try to improve my upcoming surveys.

Thanks Leon. I'll try to let you know once the survey ends.  ;)

In hindsight it is indeed strange of me to do that. After the first results came running in I realized quite a few categories were missing, but it was too late to change it. Luckily there is an "Other" option which has given a lot of useful feedback!

Tantalising and frustrating (as these things normally are!) but now done.

I too thought "why steampunk?"

Let me add my "welcome to the forum" to the others.

Done.

Its a shame it didn't include questions on why people don't go to events. I haven't attended a show in years purely because of the travelling distances involved and associated costs of travelling.
I don't think my wife likes me very much, when I had a heart attack she wrote for an ambulance.
