What ho chaps!
As traditional dictates, summer is here, England are getting hammered in a test series and it's about to rain...
What shall I smuggle into the car this year for late night painting?
Polling  a week or two in advance so that I've got some assembly and undercoating time.

And just got variety, you get two votes each! ;)

A holiday is a time to enjoy the things you enjoy.

Enjoy your wives and your concubines and those that you can hold with your right hand, but do not surrender to them that which gives you pleasure. If they say to you "but we are on holiday and it is time for family" say "I shall apportion my time appropriately. Some I shall give to my wives and my concubines and those that I hold with my right hand, and some I shall give to eating and to sleeping and to washing, but some part I shall reserve for the which gives me pleasure."

Not me Guv. I removed my vote and there was still one left. I've put it back now.

Perhaps someone (perhaps Mrs L) wants to influence the vote.

I voted for a complete break it's a holiday, a thing where you do things that you wouldn't normally do at home. (Like talk to the missus. :) ) Plus it has the added bonus of making you feel rejuvenated when you get back and you will paint even more figures!

If I had to choose it would be Mongols.

I chose LOA infantry.

I can't say don't paint, as i always take some models and paint with me on holiday  :P

When you don't sleep much, and your kids are in bed, and your wife tries to catch up some sleep, it's good to have something to do.

Voted !

I want to see some barbarians painted up.  ;)
You can't expect Will NOT to paint....He'll get withdrawal symptoms.  :D

Can I just point out the inherent bias in your survey. You have in effect two choices. To paint, or not to paint. Once that choice has been made, the question is "what should I paint?"

in other words, 5 "don't paint" should be outvoted by 6 "paint somethings".

Hold on.....As it stands....And assuming everybody that's voted has used both their votes.
Three people have said don't paint anything....Ten people want you to paint 'something'.

I'm with Nobby, on the apparent flaw in this poll.  ;)

Cheers - Phil

fred.

I'm surprised how strong the don't paint vote is.

I normally take a some modelling stuff on holiday - thought normally 28mm plastic kits to assemble as they are less messy, and need less good light. Times I have taken painting stuff it's usually been too much effort for the return.
