I think its worth noting that Mantic are really pushing hard to take those WFB players GW just kicked in the teeth.

Given that Mantic is basically run by the people who used to make GW a success, this makes me laugh.   

Now all they need to do is knock up some 10mm rules, using 20x40mm bases, bash out some 10mm miniatures and call it Masters of War...

Well...it does rather make me want to check out Mantic's Kings of War.  I have a Dark Elf army still on the sprues that I've been looking to do something with...I was waiting for Dan Mersey's Dragons Rampant to use them though...

Kings of War is a great game, get those Dark Elves made and painted Luddite and give it a go. I suspect that Dragon Rampant will be very good as well.

Was in GW yesterday to pick up some metallic paints, and there was a massive poster advertising Warhammer - Age of Sigmar, so it looks like the name Warhammer will continue to function. Didn't notice the figures as I'm not interested in their offerings. I suspect they may have another big competitor in Frostgrave, or whatever it's called. My only desire for Fantasy is a bit GOT, i.e. 10mm condottieri armies with some da Vinci machines thrown in and a dragon.
