I have the Black Powder Zulu book but haven't done much then glance through it. Any recommendations on a good rules set? Rorkes Drift and the other battles also. I'd like to play some British Colonial battles.
Thanks.

We use Battles for Empire - http://www.hotzartworks.com/bfe.html

It has similar mechanisms to Fire & Fury.

We use it for the Sudan & the Zulu Wars as well as the French in Mexico, The Russo-Japanese War, Romans vs Britons and Mongols

see Steve's blog for the normal stuff http://stenicplus.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/BFE

and mine for the "let's use them for something else" stuff See http://twomarshals.blogspot.co.uk/search?q=bfe

If you live anywhere near Slimbridge , Gloucestershire then we are having a big sudan game on Monday 4th May if you want to try before you buy

Thank you all.  I ordered a Rorkes Drift terrain set, next will be a Brit & Zulu army.

Can't seem to find them anywhere???

I'm being a bit tongue-in-cheek. They're my homemade set. You're welcome to a copy.

I recently discovered the "old" Piquet Field of Battle 2.
I really like them ( for my acw games). There are lists for the Zulus war.

just my 2 cents..

I don't think FOB2 is that old.Still available through Lancashire Games if you like card driven games. My mate doesn't so we have reverted to Black Powder, which now has a Zulu Wars supplement. Don't do it myself as you need 'fahsends of em.'
