Just been having a read through and it is really well done, some interesting articles and even Nobby remains sane throughout his ramblings

You can find it here

My only slight negative is the font used , not sure about it and a bit hard to read in my opinion

Looking forward to number two though
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Damned fine read.

Congratulations to the Editor.

Looks good, although a less fancy font would be an improvement...

Seconded. The font immediately types the mag as "fantasy", which would put me off at once. Times Roman or Arial would be a better choice.

Meh! I liked the font! Nice and easy to read.

To be fair the only bit that grabbed my attention enough to get me to read it was the piece by fsn, which I enjoyed.

Skimmed bits of the rest.

Good start, all the best for future editions.

Bloodaxe

I really liked the mag.  :)

Just a few minor things. For the battle reports it would be good to have a clear list for each army along with a picture of each army before battle.  The magazine should be more printer friendly- no off color, greenish paper/background.  In the Game of Throne lists "INFANTRY" is spelled "INFANTRT" by mistake more than once. Peasants are costed at 21 points, they are 12 in the Dragon Men lists, so Im not sure if this is a typo.

Great magazine though!

Thank you.

Luddite

Georgia is a good solid safe font.

That looks like Papyrus which is great for headings, but can be difficult to read as body text.

Great start to the ezine though Craig.  Good luck with the enterprise!   :-bd

Nice.  :D

However like the others I found the font slightly off putting.

Otherwise fantastic
Old enough to know better

Interesting beginning. I like the font, had no trouble at all reading it; sometimes Ariel or Times New Roman can get a bit samey because everyone uses them, nice to see something different. Bookmarked for future reference.

Brilliant effort, very well done.

Articals were all high quality and very interesting.

For me the font is OK. I found the picture on the front page a little blurred.

Very well done  :) :) :) :) :)

When I first read the ezine it was on the laptop and the font wasnt great looking, just looked on the tablet a few minutes ago and it looks and is a lot more readable on that

Thanks guys I'll change the font next time if it helps, now that the massive effort of teaching myself code, word 2010, web design etc is done I'll pay closer attention to the editorial side of things, and yes for some reason it's far better on mobiles and tablets! God knows lol, it's the hard work of the contributors that really makes it, well done you guys, keep the content coming, I've got lots of ideas for the next issue
