What light do you use ?

The light of a computer screen or a neon ?

It creates stripes.

I use a lamp "daylight" with a white bottom for photos but I am not a specialist of the photography

Sorry Barbarian, but I do not understand the weathering word when I translate in French with GOOGLE it gives me "Chasse d'eau" it's for the functioning of toilets 
I understood that you asked me if I used pigments that I can answer that not.
Concerning the back ground I am going to try to make an another one.

I was thinking that the brown on the tracks was done with dry pigment.

Weathering : "usure dûe aux intempéries", in another word, "le salissage"
