Wondered whether that was worth 'giving a go' on the iPlayer ?
Anyone listened to it ?

(Yes...I know....Me actually using the iPlayer !  :o...It's all Nobby's fault.)

I thought it was well done, so I'd say it's worth a listen.

I see the book of the week on Radio 4 next week is Thucydides. 5 episodes, 15 minutes each means you'll only get up to what he's having for breakfast. I seem to recall that somewhere in the intro he states that the book is going to be boring, and it's amazing how well he lived up to this aspiration.

Must give "Tommies" a go.

Worth it, Nobby.
Very well dramatised.
Too well, in a lot of cases...

Yes, proof, in a number of cases, that the most graphic images are shown on radio :)

Absolutely, I.

I find I get completely drawn into 'storylines', such as this......and end up cursing vehemently at certain 'characters'.
"You utter, utter, utter, blank".....Has been heard more than once, this morning.
