Aha that fact your reading this means I'm right, there is an interest in a 10mm wargaming mag, it's time we had one what should we do about it

I think this site is that magazine.

I would agree that to Pendraken fans it is, but there are those yet who have not found out the joy of Pendraken, poor souls.   :(

An ezine covering other makes and games, both existing and now defunct from production, would likely increase the player base substantially.  Of course we all realise that this would create a headache for those at Pendraken, but hey, what is wrong with them working a continuous production line on a four shift rota.   ;D

Seriously though, I think an independent ezine would be great and also increase the gamer base.  But then again I am a fairly new convert to 10mm so I guess I am still in the evangelical stage.  (Long may it continue to be so as well.   :)  )

It's an interesting proposition, but knowing how much effort/time goes into the mainstream magazines already available, it's a huge undertaking.  There are more 10mm articles appearing in the major mag's, which is great for everyone, but I'm not sure if there are enough article pieces generated at the moment to fill a single publication.

One thing that might work, would be a quarterly type e-zine, which could be put together and published through Wargame Vault or something similar.  It would rely very heavily on reader input though, as you'd need a steady stream of articles, batreps, photoshoots, news, etc.

I did Warmaster and 10mm digest. 3 numbers.

Start with warmaster as main game, but my idea is getting wider to more games, but only focus in 10mm.

Then I quit because I am not having time. Trying to keep it life with the help of Jurisch.

I'd contribute batreps and such. Quarterly might be the way to go

Just dont ask me to edit or format as Im an IT illiterate.. :D

Well, if Techno says it's OK, it's jake with me.

There are probably a few threads on here which could be turned with the minimum of editing into an article. Top Totty springs to mind, but that could just be because it's early. Some of the batreps and painting articles though are quite substantial enough.

You could count on me for an article a quarter - perhaps not mainstream - but I'd happily do my bit.

I would be happy to contribute, and also edit/proof read as I have a red pen! I have had 10mm articles published in Miniature Wargames (a while ago now).
