I am planning my next purchase, but have a few questions.

1) On the TBM Villages & Hamlets - what the overall base size of each?   :-\

2) Is EC23 good for Heavy Artillery in TYW?   ???

3) In Warband, do I really need to use Zombies in a Skeleton army?  Really?  :o

4) How long should it take for Royal Air mail to get my package here???  Need reinforcements!  ;D ;D ???

Leman

Zombies are included in the core units, but my understanding is you must assemble 200+ points from the core, but you don't have to use all the unit types from the core.

So I can go all Skele's!  Woot!   :d

Question 5:   Need a recommendation for a TYW swordsman in armor, please.

Leman

There's a sword and buckler figure in the Elizabethan range. Might be ok for early TYW.

No you don't.

The undead army has four 'core' units.

Skeleton warriors
Skeleton archers
Skeleton riders
Zombies

You can use any mix of these units you like.  If you don't want zombies, don't take them in your army.   :)

The dimensions for each building are listed on the TBM website here: http://www.totalbattleminiatures.com/bigbattalions/10-15mm/blackpowdereurope.html

Normally for the US it's around 5-7 working days or so.  On very rare occasions they get caught at US Customs which can really delay them, anything up to 6 weeks sometimes.  Fortunately that doesn't happen very often.  There's also the 10 days or so it takes us to cast up the figures and get them shipped out.

Often wondered about that :-\

Sometimes I get them really quickly 2-3 days, other times closer to the 10 you mention.

Is this because you have some in stock or is it: "just cos!" :)
Buy plenty of Matron's sculpts now!

If he keeps using the chainsaw, the value of his work will soon go up.

It depends on what's been ordered really.  Paints/bases/decals/resin items are usually in stock and we can get them sent straight out.  On the figures side, 20th C. stuff goes into Dave's pile and takes around 14 days at the moment, anything Fantasy or pre-20th C. goes into the casters pile and they can get them cast up within around 7-10 days or so normally.

I've not got any exact dimensions on those, but the boxes that TBM package them in are around 25cm squares, so the rubber bases must be somewhere close to that.  I'll try and remember to unpack some tomorrow and measure them for you.

TBM - I found mine while looking for something else, the two I have are 20cm 'square' and 25cm 'square'. I'll post photos later so you can see how many buildings go on the two sizes.

Although the difference in size seems small the bigger one is a good bit bigger when on the table.

These are the 2 TBM village bases I own. The small house sizes are 40x40mm, the large ones 80x40mm

20cm across

25cm across - and not as blurry in real life...

God I love this forum!  :D ;) :)

Best job I ever had!   ;D ;D

fred.

Glad to help.

The TBM stuff is really nice - the buildings are very well detailed. The bases look very plain when you get them, but they paint up very quickly to look good.

Just wondering what paint you used for the bases Fred?

I recently received their hamlet pack and there was a note saying not to use normal modelling painst because they don't stick well to the bases.
