My infantry are H&R and I find them in scale with the vehicles, it was a bit of a bu**er painting the camo smocks on the infantry though. Which is why I only painted one battalion instead of the nine. In 6mm WW II that would have been silly.

What do you think of Adler?
Buy plenty of Matron's sculpts now!

If he keeps using the chainsaw, the value of his work will soon go up.

Fenton

I like them. Probably too big for H&R tanks though fit in pretty well with GHQ
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Not a clue. The place I got my stuff from sold the H&R inf as well, made sense to me.

Irregular aren't bad, I have their Japanese and Western Desert Brits, the Crusaders are a bit basic mind you. The advantage with Irregular is that you can get a variety of the same thing ie on some of my Russian T-34/85's  they have tank riders or bits of stowage moulded on. It really all depends on how much detail you want, after all, Peter Laing 15mm were a bit basic but with a half decent paint job they looked as good as anyone else's. The only potential problem with the Irregular infantry is that they come in 4 figs to a base for the PBI or 2 heavy weapons plus crews. If you use them as a squad you will be fine.

Thanks guys, all great advice.

I suppose the bottom line with the infantry is, if I don't like certain ones, they only cost pennies  ;)

You should get two for that , both sides with the trimmings :D

Early war or "rubbish heavy" armies might be more awkward but even so infantry are cheap ;)
