Very nice; strong black lining really makes them stand out  :-bd
Buy plenty of Matron's sculpts now!

If he keeps using the chainsaw, the value of his work will soon go up.

Most impressive !! :-bd

Love the look of those!   Very impressed with the detail on the French Guard - individual lines of lace !  :o

Watch out for those pesky Prusskies, though, there are only a small number of regular battalions with those white crosses on their flags, and I think they are all fusiliers with black belts! The standard Prussian infantry flag has a black cross with white corners.    OK, let the jokes commence.

Damn! I must have posted the negative of that pic. ;)

Thanks for that, I've only painted the one battalion so it would be easy enough to change.

Actually, I can't really take that kind of credit for the lace on the guard. I just gently dry-brushed over the blue and it seems to have worked.

Thanks all.

#getagrip. I use a black undercoat on all my 6mm, it makes them so much easier to paint. Lining would take forever and beyond.

#mollinary. I've been racking my brain trying to think why I did the Prussian flag the wrong way around and conluded that it's partially your fault. If I hadn't read your post on the Landwehr flags and if I hadn't looked at the site you recommended and got it completely wrong, I could have just copied Leman's picture of his Irregular 6mm Prussians and I would have been in the clear. So there you are. ;)  :) :D

Nice ;)

I must dig out my 6mm FPW again soon!

I finished them in 2010 http://nosherswargames.blogspot.co.uk/2010_07_01_archive.html
I don't think my wife likes me very much, when I had a heart attack she wrote for an ambulance.

Looking very good indeed. I'm assuming you have based up for BP or something similar.

Thanks all for the kind words.

No, I only have two sets -Bazaine and Les Gens Braves which I have had since I bought the figures, Bazaine recommends 30mm frontage for infantry so I went with that, it fits in with my plans anyway. Tomorrow I'm going to the Cavalier Show in Tonbridge so I'll have a mooch around there and see what I can find. At the moment Bazaine looks the more interesting of the two but I'm not sold on the idea of all these order chit thingyamy-whatsits behind units, I'm sure that bit can be simplified -especially in 6mm. If Bernie is there I'll have a word. The rest looks pretty playable though.

Never painted 6mm but thinking about it, that would make perfect sense ;)
