Final wash done on the 20 casualties  :)

I will highlight them tomorrow  :!!

I will be delivering them to the diorama in its final resting place in the Great War Exhibition when we help the Perrys install the figures next weekend :)

I am indeed ;) :)

Lucky to be involved, yes, but you and the others have worked your socks off for this so at least an element of making your own luck I think. Well deserved, in my opinion.
There are 100 types of people in the world, those who understand binary and those who can work from incomplete data

Buy plenty of Matron's sculpts now!

If he keeps using the chainsaw, the value of his work will soon go up.

I think we're all agog to see pictures of this diorama. Most of us will never see it in the flesh.  :) :) :)
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.

A busy day, at home this time ;D

I've now done most of the dry brushing on the remaining Kiwi casualties, just the hair left to dry brush :)

I had touch up a wash on a few figures so they have an extra dry brush to finish as well.

While waiting for the wash to dry I spent a couple of hours doing the basing of the outstanding 10mm Turkish Regiment :)

I realised that while that was a regiment at 1:20 we have done enough 54mm for 2-3 regiments at 1:1 :o :o :o
I don't know the exact numbers of figures but it puts it into perspective

My contribution to this project: chatting with Alan and Michael Perry at the Hamburger Tactica convention, thus keeping them from working on the next batch of figures.  :D

But seriously, it was nice to see these for real, and some of the stuff they were working on looked very promising. But they all agreed that it's a mammoth project, that's keeping them busy for quite some time.

The convention came up in conversation on Saturday night, according to Alan, "chatting doesn't slow us down, we can pretty much sculpted and chat"  ;)

They were also talking about an Agincourt project they are working on, fewer figures and only 28mm  ;) ;D got till September to finish it

And of course they need to be back for Salute on ANZAC day in the UK

They always could !...What  I used to find slightly disheartening was the fact that they could talk to you.....and look at you while they were pushing the putty around.*
Bob Naismith was the same. They seemed to barely need to look at what they were making !

Cheers - Phil

*Still find this 'annoying' ;), as it's something I've never been able to do.....I can talk to someone on the phone, if I put it on 'hands free', but i have to stare at what I'm making all the time.
