Is there any Nuns or religious types currently available, does anyone know?

I've done a search through the forum and scanned through the webstore, but have come up blank so far.

Nearest I could find was some banter about nuns in the 2012 "what we're making" thread.

I bought some Nuns in 15mm at York to use for scenario purposes and just wondered if there was any available to do the the same in 10mm.

Thanks in advance  :)
Rimmer: "Aliens."

Lister: "Oh God, aliens... Your explanation for anything slightly peculiar is aliens, isn't it?

Rimmer: "Well, we didn't use it all, Lister. Who did?"

Lister: "Rimmer, aliens used our bog roll?"

Aren't there monks in the beggar range?

They aren't listed but I think I got something like that in my beggar army pack???
Buy plenty of Matron's sculpts now!

If he keeps using the chainsaw, the value of his work will soon go up.

Just had a look Roy, there are some women in the beggar range which, with a tiny bit of green stuff would easily pass for nuns  :)

Yep, there's nothing exactly right but there's some conversion options.  The female beggars, as getagrip says, they could work.  It depends on what kind of look you're going for really?  Proper nuns in big robes or something more skimpy?!  There's a pose in the Beggar children as well that's in big robes and could maybe work.  Plus there's some Monks in the Late Medieval range, code ELM37.

Thank you.

I'll take a look at the Beggar range with a view to converting.

Pretty sure Leon will send you exactly the ones you need.  The women in question have a "realistic" cleavage which you could cover by pushing a bit of green stuff into (hard to describe but the sculpt would make this really easy).  They are also carrying various stuff (broom and one has a rolling pin I think).

Anyone got a piccie guys?

These are the Peter Pig 15mm figures I picked up at York to use in my ultra modern gaming (C20th nuns fashion not really changing much)

A monastery requiring evacuation or getting casualties to the Sister's mercy being a couple of ideas I've had.

In 10mm I was thinking about what I could use for Sci-Fi Zombie games.

In 10mm please Leon ;)

We could use them as missionaries for the Aztecs :D

I was going to do a joke asking for Mother Teresa instead and began looking at pictures ... and realised how easy it would be to convert such a figure (presuming you had a suitably-clad figure to start with).

For those wondering Diana Spencer was 1.78 m / 5'10" tall. So that would make Mother Teresa ... Tiny  :o

I'd enjoy a game of Aztecs trying to capture and convert Mother T. to their religion and an item in their diet.

O Dinas Powys

The one problem with the beggar women is their size, they would dwarf any historical figures sent to rescue them  :o

I've never seen a photo, but hidden in the WW2 Russian range is SV33, "Wounded with female first aiders". I keep meaning to order a pack just to see what they're like, but keep forgetting!

Cheers,

The "monks" are the children code, FBG10. IIRC they are convertions of the medieval peasant monk running with the bill in ELM37. The other monk is walking with a stick.

I'm sure I've posted photos on the forum somewhere, but I'm typing on my phone at the moment so can't readily search.

Cheers!
