Italian CTV

Here is a pic of the Italian CTV for the SCW range.  I copied the style of the rest of the SCW range so they are completely compatible.  From top to bottom, left to right are a Breda M30 LMG, a Brixia M35 mortar, a FIAT-Revelli M14 MMG, Infantry with NCO, Infantry with Officer, Infantry and, finally, CTV Staff, comprising a generic staff officer, Brig Gen Roatta (Comd CTV 1936-37) and Brig Gen Bergonzoli (Comd Littorio Div 1937-39).

My basing method is really very simple and I'm sure it's not unique by any means.  First you need a number of plastic storage boxes, one for each of the materials you intend to use.  First complete the figures, varnish them, and paint the base, green, earth or whatever.  These were painted dark earth.  When it was all thoroughly dry I painted the base with PVA glue and immersed it in a box of fine sand.  I shook off any loose particles and let it dry hard.  I then applied more PVA where I wanted rocks and immersed it in a box of grit.  When that was dry I repeated the process with yellow flock and, finally, static grass.  The larger tufts are made by a German company, I think, but are readily available.  They are just stuck on last.  Hope this helps.

They all been production moulded, just waiting on me to grab some pics and get them released.  I'll try and get them done before we head off to the Hammerhead show on Friday.

Coincidentally, I'm hoping to get them photo'd and released either Mon or Tues, so they should be available very soon.  I just need to get the codes finalised and make sure the figures have been black washed for photo'ing.
