Move the T-62, BTR-60 series and Soviet modern infantry to the top of the list! I need a new motorized rifle regiment for CWC.

Welcome the to Forum, Mr Steel.

I must agree with your sentiments. Much rather Soviet armour than anthropomorphic ursines, but I suspect both will be behind the League of Ausberg dung gatherers.

Thanks, FSN. I was a member here for several years but mostly just lurked. When I tried posting for the 1st time in a couple years, my membership and old posts seem to have disappeared. But I am now back in political favor, so I can bug Leon for more moderns.

That's odd, can you let me know your previous username and I can have a look in the Admin and see what happened to it?

Thanks for the info, I've had a dig about and I can't find any other history on the Cold Steel id, so I'm not sure what's happened there.  If you ever stumble over your previous posts, let me know and I can have another look.

I agree with some of the previous postings, e.g. the need for more modern Russian/Soviet armor releases, as well as infantry.

Having the following would permit them to go up against the US equipment already produced by Pendraken, now, e.g. the M48, M113, etc.

So, I'd like to see the BRDM-2, and BRDM w/ATGMs, BMP-1, BTR-60PB, T-62, and T-64 produced, along with troops, ASAP.  That'll permit fielding forces for the 1960s - 1980s, and beyond, in some cases.

The Soviets, and a lot of their allies used the T-55 with the BMPs, BTR-60s, and BRDMs through the end of the Cold War.  Apparently, they preferred it over the more expensive T-62.  BMP-2s were pretty rare, at least in the early 1980s (only being fielded in decent numbers around the mid-1980s).

US troops need the M114, and M151 Mutt for Armored Cav units, and other orgs, to go with the planned Sheridans, M60A1s, and with the current M48s and M113s/M125s (M106s) available now.   A TOW launcher (M150) for the M113 would be nice as well, and with the later M901 variant, when you have the time.

The M41 tank would be nice too, since it was fielded by the US, Germany, Denmark, Norway, and I suspect others too.  It was used in some recon units, and as a light tanks in other forces.  It was also used in Vietnam, so works well with the other Vietnam-era troops and equipment already available, now.

Bundeswehr need the Spz Kurz and early HS-30 IFV (forerunner to the Marder) to oppose the 1960s era Soviets and Warsaw Pact units.  The HS-30's hull can be used to produce a JgPz Rakete with SS-11.  Of course, the Leopard 1, Marder, and JgPz Kanone and later Rakete variants with HOT, etc. would be nice too (the Kanone and Raketes were built on the Marder hull).  Luchs, for the recon forces, and infantry, of course, as well as a 1.5 ton Unimog truck for the German infantry.

Chieftian V, and FV432s would be nice to go with the other available British kit, for the Cold War in Europe.  With just these two vehicles, the BAOR is reasonably well equipped, since a lot of other armor for the British has been produced by Pendraken, already.  Of course, I'll be wanting the FV-438 Swingfire too (minor FV432 conversion, I suspect).

Perhaps, since only a handful of vehicles are needed to permit that, they could be produced at about the same time as the more up to date Russian/Soviet armor.  Of course, the M60A1 would almost get us through the end of the Cold War, too, when fielded with the present M113s, so that should be near the front of the queue too, in my opinion.

Looking forward to new releases, soon.
