How many rule sets does a man need?

I think we all probably collect many rulesets and play a few.  It's a part of the hobby i suppose. 

I have a shelf-load that have either never been played or only played once/a few times. 

I don't have a 'core set', but i do have a small number i return to regularly and a larger number that i play occasionally.

It all adds to the fun of the hobby for me.
