The last of my Sudan war troops

I really never thought this day would come (based on past experience). This is the Dervish army all painted.... I still have to edge the bases, get some vegetation on and varnish them all but the paining is all done :)


There are 48 bases of Ansar, 13 of Hadendowah infantry (roughly 6 figures a base)
12 camelry + 4 Hadendowah camelry
12 cavalry bases + Command base
4 artillery bases
10 rifle armed bases
Plus The man himself and associated individual figure command bases.

Naff photo courtesy of my tablet... to be fair my camera photo would be likely to be just as bad.

The infantry are in 6's as that is my standard unit size for them the cavalry/camelry are in units of 4 bases. obviously this can be changed as a whim takes me.
Base sizes ...Infantry are 40x20 cavalry and artillery are 40x30.

Once the Anglo/Egyptian forces are finished I will post an army pic of them too.
