are the Medieval 1000pt Army Packs geared towards any particular rule set

I think Warmaster
If I were creating Pendraken I wouldn't mess about with Romans and  Mongols  I would have started with Centurions , eight o'clock, Day One!

Yep, Warmaster Medieval, although they've not sold well at all since GW dropped WM, so we'll probably be dropping them from the catalogue in the new year.
