Do a unit of hoplites. After that, you'll be grateful for the regular, straight, geometric lines of Teutonic crosses. ;)

Drop Leon a mail. I got some suitable ones from Minibits.

You did say WWI/Great War didn't you?

If you did I'd say those German crosses would be wrong for WWI.

You need the type as seen on German aircraft at the time or on the German flag. I've see pictures of German or captured British tanks with the same 'Iron Cross' style crosses on them as were used on aircraft at the time.

Unfortunately I've no idea were you could get them except from a suitably scaled German aircraft of the period.

I think you want these Maltese or Iron crosses for WWI (also from Dom)

I've had a go at hand painting a couple on this A7V, this one worked ok, there are rather fewer photos of the other side of the tank! These are about 5mm across so a touch larger than the ones on the decal sheet.

Yes, sorry, I miss-read the WW1 bit. Dom does the Maltese crosses as well, of course.
When you realise we're all mad, life makes a lot more sense.
