I don't think it's been put in a mould yet.

Of course, when Vimes goes away crime falls, because the criminals are scared of what will happen when he comes back and finds it went up...
I have neither the time nor the crayons to explain why you are wrong.

Just got back home, so I'll have a read through all of the posts now and see if you lot have been behaving yourselves!

Managed to tick a few animals off the 'Wanted List', including red squirrels, a heron and a single deer.  A couple of eagles and pelicans as well, but I don't think the Bird of Prey centre counts...!   :D

Did indeed, Northumberland is an excellent part of the country, great scenery, lots to do and very friendly people.  Definitely recommended, plus there's a castle every few miles!

Ok - so who is going to sneak off sheepishly, excluding those in the Principality and those in far southern climes of course.

We drove through Bellingham on the way up to Kielder Water, and came close again heading to Vindolanda the next day.  Are you walking any sections of the wall?

Walking the area around the Battle of Heaven field and also the area around Corbridge. Have walked large sections of the Wall in the past. Will also be visiting Otterburn battlefield and walking Dere Street into Scotland (before the border controls go up).
