Just posted a couple of pictures of the start of my War of Spanish Succession Imperialist army. Hopefully I can stay on track and get some more done within the next few weeks.

Excellent. Nice big juicy units - that's what 10 mils are all about.

Added a few more photos. The force keeps growing very slowly. The figures are a real joy to paint and I am just sorry I can't do them justice with my slap on color approach.

Looking really good. I also use one of those faux fur throws and while the weather has been fine I've slung it over the washing line and given it random sprays of darker green and a light sandy brown to break up the light green uniformity green uniformity. C18th Austrian armies do look brilliant en masse. Now working on my Prussians for SYW.

From playing distance they look fine, and that's all that matters.  :-bd

One of the main advantages of 10mm is the ability to produce large units in order to give the impression of a large battle taking place. Another advantage is that this can be achieved without recourse to hyper-detailed uniforms. You have the right approach to getting those units on the table, and believe me they look really effective.
